Christmas Tree Sale
Our major fundraiser is our Christmas Tree Sale - just north of the corner of 127th and Harlem - usually starting the weekend before Thanksgiving. We purchase freshly downed Wisconsin Balsam Fir (best fragrance), Frasier Fir and the "new kid on the block" - the Canaan Fir which has a fragrance similar to a Balsam and strong branches & better needle retention like a Fraser Fir.

Scholarship Raffle
The Palos Lions Club has a year-long raffle to raise money for scholarships for our Palos community high schools:
Alan B. Shepard H.S., Amos Alonzo Stagg H.S.
and Southwest Chicago Christian H.S. Each school will receive two $1200 scholarships.
Tickets: $20 donation each
Prizes: 1st = $500 NEW 2nd = $100 3rd = $50
4th = $25 5th = $25 6th = $25
Winners are drawn monthly and winning tickets are put back in the next drawing giving each ticket many chances to win.
